We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Chronology Specialist to join our dynamic healthcare documentation team. This role involves reviewing and organizing medical records into clear, concise, and chronological summaries used in legal, insurance, and clinical settings.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Nursing, Allied Health, or any medical-related course.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- At least 1 year of experience in medical chronology, medical transcription, or medical coding.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Excellent written communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, review and interpret medical records from various healthcare providers.
- Create accurate and comprehensive medical chronologies.
- Identify missing records and inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with legal and clinical teams to ensure documentation meets required standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other data privacy regulations.
