• Evaluate complaints
• Conducts preliminary/fact-finding investigation
• Prepares resolution, formal charge, decision, comment for cases on appeal
• Provides legal opinion, interpretation and /or advice on laws, rules, and regulations, and policies
• Assist the Formal Investigating Committee during the Formal Investigation
• Prepare, study, and review contracts/ agreements/ MOA and other legal documents
• Evaluate requests for clearances, certifications
• Assists the Department Head in carrying out the Department's social protection mandate and to immediately render legal advice or opinion and provide legal representation;
• Assists the Department Head in suits against personnel of the QCLGU and in suits involving QCLGU sites or represent the same in court cases
• Coordinate with appropriate authorities for issues/concerns relating to QCLGU
• Conducts ocular inspection to validate issues and concerns
• Submits legal management reports on administrative cases
• Provides legal counseling to officials, personnel, and clients
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities

Bachelor of Laws / Juris Doctor
