Electrical Engineer Responsibilities: The Electrical Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring our electrical projects are executed efficiently by providing clear, simplified, and accurate technical guidance to our construction teams. Key responsibilities include:

• Plan Reviews: Thoroughly review Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drawings to identify critical details, potential conflicts, and ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and industry standards.

• Drawing Markups and Simplification: Extract and consolidate essential information from MEP drawings, creating clear, annotated markups that simplify complex technical details for our field teams to follow during construction.

• Information Verification: Cross-verify all data on plans, specifications, and related documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with project requirements and regulatory standards.

• Panel Schedules: Develop, update, and maintain accurate panel schedules, ensuring proper load balancing, circuit assignments, and compliance with electrical codes and project specifications.

• Project Tracking and Management: Maintain an organized system to track all active projects, including tasks, deadlines, and deliverables. Provide regular updates on project status to keep the team aligned on priorities and next steps.

Required Software for Electrical Engineer:

• Bluebeam: Proficiency in using Bluebeam Revu for creating, editing, and annotating MEP drawing markups, as well as collaborating with team members on plan reviews.

• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel): Use Outlook for email communication, Word for drafting reports or documentation, and Excel for managing panel schedules and project tracking spreadsheets.

• AutoCAD: Expertise in AutoCAD for reviewing, editing, and creating electrical drawings and plans to support project execution.

Electrical Estimator Responsibilities: The Electrical Estimator will support our bidding and project planning processes by organizing critical documentation and facilitating communication with stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

• Document Gathering: Collect and compile all necessary project documents, including plans, specifications, addenda, and other relevant materials, ensuring completeness for the estimating process.

• File Organization: Maintain a well-organized digital and/or physical filing system for all project-related documents, ensuring easy access, version control, and efficient retrieval.

• Request for Information (RFI) Management: Draft, send, and track RFIs to clarify ambiguities or obtain missing information from clients, architects, or engineers, ensuring timely responses to keep the estimating process on schedule.

• Preparation for Chief Estimator Review: Assemble and organize all relevant data, including quantity takeoffs, material lists, and labor estimates, in a clear and comprehensive format for the Chief Estimator to review and finalize bids.

• Contract and Change Order Documentation: Prepare accurate and professional contract documents and change orders, ensuring all terms, pricing, and scope changes are clearly documented and aligned with project requirements.

Required Software for Electrical Estimator:

• Bluebeam: Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu for reviewing plans, performing quantity takeoffs, and annotating documents during the estimating process.
