Associate Process Engineer

1.0 Provide support to Production Section Head to facilitate efficient operations within his area of responsibility, maximize available resources, and ensure that departmental OGSM are met.

2.0 Provide direction and guidance to operators in his area of responsibility and monitor closely daily work operation's compliance to set standards and procedures.

3.0 Provide valuable inputs in the formulation of Departmental Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures (OGSM) and Key Result Areas (KRA) of subordinates.

4.0 Assist the Production Section Head in monitoring compliance and adherence of subordinates to the company's house rules, standard operating procedures, and policies related to cGMP and Safety standards.

5.0 Conduct all in-process testing and inspection required as per defined frequency stated in the Master Processing Procedure/Batch processing Record or Master Packaging Procedure / Batch packaging Record and monitor/ evaluate results of the same activity as conducted by the operator.

6.0 Ensure that the required inputs (materials, batch records, supplies) are available prior to production run.

7.0 Ensure his and his subordinates timely and accurate data entry in Batch Processing / Packaging Records, Daily Performance Reports and other relevant documents and records.

8.0 Ensure submission of accomplished Batch Records and product samples within the set lead-time.

9.0 Monitors performance of equipment, process parameters, in-process test results and initiate analysis and documentation of non-conformities and other issues related to quality and productivity.

10.0 Assist the Production Section Head in the performance evaluation and training needs analysis of subordinates.

11.0 Conduct self-inspection audit of his/her area of responsibility and discuss with superior and subordinates action plans to address non-conformance and negative findings.

12.0 Maintain integrity and accuracy of work in process, materials and production supplies inventory through timely and accurate computer transactions and regular conduct of cycle count.

13.0 Review, develop and revise standard operating procedures and other production records with areas concerned as needed.

14.0 Ensure compliance to calibration schedule of measuring equipment / devices through regular monitoring of equipment calibration status.

15.0 Check for accuracy and correctness of materials withdrawn from warehouse versus Request for Materials Form (RFM) - PickList prior to transfer to production.

16.0 Check for accuracy and quality of the finished goods prior to transfer to warehouse.

17.0 Ensure timeliness and accuracy of computer transactions (i.e. Goods issuance, Process order confirmation) before production run & after completion of work order.

18.0 Participate actively in company programs and working committee/s where he is (or will be) assigned.

19.0 Report to the immediate superior any action/s of subordinates that is detrimental to the interest of the company.

20.0 Safeguard against loss, misuse and destruction company properties assigned to the department.

21.0 Participate in the company's continuous learning and development programs through involvement in seminars, meetings, knowledge sharing sessions, working committee and reading of relevant literatures.

22.0 Perform risk assessment as necessary.

23.0 Perform other functions or tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

-Has Strong Oral Communication Skills: Able to effectively communicate technical concepts, process updates, and improvement initiatives across various levels of the organization, from shop floor personnel to senior management.

-Effective Project Presentation Abilities: Proficient in preparing and delivering structured presentations that clearly outline project objectives, methodologies, results, and recommendations. Skilled in using visual tools to support data-driven storytelling.

-Leadership Capabilities: Shows initiative and ownership in leading process improvement efforts and cross-functional projects. Capable of guiding small teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and influencing decisions through collaboration and problem-solving.

-Technical Report Writing Skills: Experienced in documenting technical investigations and improvement projects in a clear, concise, and structured manner. Able to produce reports that meet internal standards and regulatory requirements, with strong attention to detail and data integrity.
