The Store Manager oversees the daily operations of the pet grooming salon, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth grooming schedules, and efficient business performance. This role manages staff, maintains store standards, monitors inventory, and ensures pets and their owners receive a safe, friendly, and professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily salon operations, including scheduling, grooming appointments, and customer service.
  • Lead, train, and motivate groomers, receptionists, and staff to deliver high-quality service.
  • Ensure all pets are handled safely and compassionately in compliance with salon standards.
  • Manage store sales, targets, and performance reports.
  • Monitor and maintain grooming tools, equipment, and product inventory.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally.
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the grooming area and store premises.
  • Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Oversee cash handling, billing, and daily sales reconciliation.
  • Enforce company policies, service quality, and grooming standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Animal Care, or related field preferred.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in retail, salon, or service management (pet industry experience is a plus).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused and passionate about animal welfare.
  • Ability to manage schedules, multitask, and handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of grooming services, pet care, and safety standards is an advantage.
  • Willing to work on weekends and holidays as needed.
