Responsibilities:

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Handle cash, credit cards, debit cards, and other forms of payment.
  • Count back change accurately and provide receipts to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
  • Bag groceries and assist customers with carrying their purchases (if applicable).
  • Follow all store policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a cashier is preferred, but not required.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle money accurately.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php695.00 per day
