The AutoCAD Operator (Electrical) is responsible for preparing accurate electrical drawings and layouts based on project requirements. The role supports engineers and project teams by translating design concepts into detailed CAD drawings for construction and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and revise electrical drawings using AutoCAD (lighting, power, FDAS, CCTV, low current, etc.

  • Draft electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, and schematics

  • Assist engineers in developing load schedules and basic electrical plans

  • Update drawings based on site conditions and as-built requirements

  • Coordinate with project engineers for design clarifications and revisions

  • Ensure drawings comply with project standards and local electrical codes

  • Maintain organized CAD files and drawing documentation

  • Support the project team during planning and construction phases

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering (undergraduate welcome), or related course
  • With experience as an AutoCAD Operator for electrical works (preferred)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of 3D is an advantage
  • Familiar with electrical symbols, layouts, and basic electrical concepts
  • Detail-oriented and able to work under minimal supervision

Can meet deadlines and handle multiple drawing revisions
