About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Officer III to join our team at Q.C. Styropackaging Corporation /Multiplast Corporation' in Santa Maria Bulacan. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our manufacturing operations. Your expertise and dedication will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and productive work environment for our employees.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive safety programs and policies
  • Conducting regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Providing training and guidance to employees on safety best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Investigating and documenting incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborating with relevant authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Maintaining detailed records and generating reports on safety performance and incident data
  • Continuously improving safety processes and procedures to enhance the overall safety culture within the organisation

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, including OSHA standards
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Certification in occupational safety, such as IOSH or NEBOSH, is highly desirable
