For the Finance Manager Role, the team is generally seeking a candidate who demonstrates a combination of technical expertise, and a strong cultural fit with the organization

  1. Staff Management & Mentorship

  2. Team Leadership: Supervise and guide your finance team through the full accounting cycle, providing hands-on mentorship to develop their skills and professional growth.

  3. Succession Planning: Proactively identify and mentor potential successors to ensure continuity and a strong talent pipeline within the team.

  4. Financial Systems & Process Mastery

  5. System Ownership: Become the primary subject matter expert by developing a deep understanding of the company's and client's financial systems, reporting tools, and operational workflows.

  6. Continuous Improvement: Actively promote continuous process improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  7. Documentation & Standardization: Ensure all financial processes, from journal entries to client reporting, are properly documented and standardized.

  8. Reporting & Client Relations

  9. Reporting Oversight: Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial data and reports.

  10. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with the team, cross-functional departments, and stakeholders, showcasing leadership in regular weekly and monthly meetings.
  11. Client Financials: Oversee the maintenance of client financials, guaranteeing they are complete, accurate, and readily available for review.
  12. Client Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships and resolving issues effectively.
  13. Client Report Assistance: Conduct financial analysis and develop recommendations for client reports, adapting to specific reporting requirements.

  2. Accounting & Financial Analysis: Possess a strong grasp of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards (e.g., PFRS, PAS).

  3. Software Proficiency: Proficient in financial accounting software and Microsoft systems, especially google sheets, and be able to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms.

  4. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

  5. Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions and reports.

  6. Process Improvement: Display a proven ability to evaluate current financial processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose effective, data-driven solutions.

  8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaboration with internal teams and external clients to align financial activities with broader organizational goals.

Key Performance Goals You Might Be Evaluated On:

  • Client Growth & Retention: Number of new clients acquired, and the retention of existing clients.
  • Operational Excellence: Number of reports prepared and presented on-time, percentage of SLA compliance for clients, and the average CSAT (Customer Satisfaction Score) from clients.
  • Process Improvement: Number of process improvements initiated and the percentage of client issues resolved within the agreed TAT (Turnaround Time).
  • Succession & Mentorship: Identification of successors and the successful implementation of mentorship programs.
  • Financial Stewardship: Adherence of the service unit's P&L to budget.

Job Description:

  • System & Process Integration: Quickly developing a comprehensive understanding of client's financial systems and operational workflows. This includes mastering our client financials and ensuring their accuracy, completeness and immediate availability.
  • Team Integration & Mentorship: Integrating into the team and beginning to provide effective supervision and mentorship to staff, helping them navigate the full accounting cycle and grow professionally.
  • Reporting & Quality Control: Taking ownership of the timely preparation and delivery of financial reports, demonstrating full attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education and Certification: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of relevant finance or accounting experience is required, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory or leadership role that includes mentorship.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, XERO) is essential.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Must possess excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial operations.
  • Communication & Leadership: Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills and a proven record of leading and inspiring a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php65, Php75,000.00 per month
