Job Description

The Database and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Administrator is responsible for the efficient management of the company database and ERP systems. In order to accomplish these tasks, the Database and ERP Administrator is expected to perform technical and administrative oversight roles on the databases and ERP that are hosted on premise and those in the cloud.

Some of the key responsibilities of the job include but not limited to:

1. IT Operations-Server/DB/ERP

  • Monitor Server, database, and ERP systems to ensure baseline performance is achieved.
  • Identify, solve and/or escalate problems that may arise with server and database systems.
  • Provide database and ERP administration and support to front-end personnel and/or clients

2. Incident Response and Troubleshooting

  • Act as lead in Server/DB/ERP incident response including emergency measures as approved by manager/management.

3. Design/Engineering (Projects)

  • Facilitate the installation, configuration and/or upgrade Server and database and ERP systems. Working with IT Operations Manager, provide consulting services with clients to specify system requirements and design solutions.
    • Responsible for capacity planning, backup, and recovery requirement of the system.
    • Provide for system storage allocation requirements for the database and ERP system.

4. Training and Development:

  • Act as primary point of contact for end user's training and development related to database/applications and ERP systems.
  • The incumbent is expected to keep abreast with the current updates, innovation, and trends in database and ERP systems

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of any 4-year related course
  • At least 2 years of technical or relevant experience in a related field
  • Experience with SAP Business One
  • Knowledgeable in database administration and ERP systems (SAP Business One)
  • Strong analytical thinking; skilled in documentation and reporting
  • Ability to interpret numerical reports into clear and understandable performance metrics

Desirable Skills/Credentials:

  • SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration (SAP/HANA)
  • Microsoft Navision and Other ERP Systems
  • AWS Certified Sysops Administrator, AWS Certified Database Specialty
  • MCSA SQL Database Administration
    • Experience in Server Systems Administration, Virtualization, Cloud Technologies
  • ITIL Foundation

Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days work-from-home)
