About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sr Estimator to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for a variety of construction projects. This is a crucial position that will play a key part in the successful delivery of our projects. The role is based in our Makati City office in Metro Manila, Philippines.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for civil and structural engineering projects, including labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor costs
  • Reviewing project plans, specifications and other documentation to identify all cost components
  • Liaising with project managers, procurement teams and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information
  • Identifying risks and mitigation strategies to ensure estimates are comprehensive
  • Providing timely and accurate estimates to support proposal and tender submissions
  • Continuously improving estimating processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience as a Sr Estimator in the civil/structural engineering industry
  • Proven track record of preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for a variety of engineering projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, equipment and labour requirements for civil and structural engineering projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify cost drivers and mitigation strategies
  • Proficient in using estimating software and tools such as Excel, On-Screen Takeoff, and others
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
