Purchaser/Driver

We are seeking a talented Purchaser/Driver to join Sotogrande Davao Hotel in Maa, Davao City. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for procuring necessary supplies and materials for our hotel, as well as safely transporting these items.

What you'll be doing:

1. Research and source the most cost-effective and reliable suppliers of goods and materials required by the hotel and resort operations
2. Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible prices and terms
3. Place purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage inventory levels
4. Liaise with managers to understand their purchasing needs
5. Efficiently and safely transport purchased goods to the appropriate properties
6. Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities and expenditures
7. Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes and reduce costs

What we're looking for:

1. Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within the hotel, resort, or hospitality industry.
2. Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers.
3. Excellent organizational and time management abilities to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
4. A valid driver's license and experience driving a variety of vehicles.
5. Commitment to providing outstanding customer service to internal stakeholders
6. Attention to detail and a collaborative approach to working with the wider team.
