  • NPI Engineer should be assigned the leadership role in manufacturing new products (FAI/Prototype).
  • Responsible for facilitating and coordinating the NPI activities and interfaces with PM and ensures the products are met.
  • Ensures that new products are manufacturable by performing DFM analysis and comparing customer's requirement with internal capabilities
  • Supervises and monitors actual build activities.
  • Interfaces with customer or design team for any process or design related issues
  • Includes managing the project from early prototype builds through the launch of full production.
  • Drive alignment of New Product Introduction strategy with internal stakeholders and the external supplier base.
  • Maintain and follow-up on action plan(s)
  • Responsible to consolidate all production concerns and report to Project/Program Manager

Qualifications:

  • Education: Technical/ Bachelor's degree related to engineering. Must have high numerical aptitude.
  • Proficient in using CAD software, AUTOCAD
  • Experience in wiring harness Manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Can interpret drawings to identify processes, tools & equipment and materials to be used.
  • Resilient, enthusiastic, self-reliant, and can work well with teams.
  • With a strong sense of responsibility, maturity & professionalism
  • With coordinating skills and can communicate well in the English language, both written and orally
