Sales & Admissions:

  • Execute sales goals for the region, Forecast Annual, Quarterly and monthly student enrolment goals along with the Admissions Team
  • Develop admissions strategies through information analysis and recommendations; establish functional objectivesin line with organizational objectives
  • Ensure student enrolment in the school - constantly strive to learn and adopt relevant best practices to improve parent engagement and experience so that the school's enrolment goals are achieved.
  • Meet the monthly admission target by managing end to end marketing and sales strategy across the defined territory in accordance with the Budgeted numbers.
  • Ensure all relevant details are updated on the CRM/HubSpot for reference and review. Using data analytics to ensure effective pipeline management and regular updating of reports for management & senior stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute regular training and knowledge enhancement sessions of the team on the use of various sales tools and counselling techniques.
  • Motivate, inspire, train and support the team for achieving the predetermined targets of student admissions.
  • Regularly plan and conduct parent engagement events and open houses to drive walk-ins and conversions
  • Develop and monitor statistical reports to enhance recruitment strategies, yield management, forecasting and operational efficiency
  • Manage the data compliance and documentation as per regulations set by the local

Marketing and Communications:

  • Develop and execute the annual marketing plan aligned with enrolment targets
  • Plan and manage all offline and digital marketing campaigns (social media, Google Ads, SEO, content marketing).
  • Work with the marketing resource and the agencies to create compelling content for newsletters, brochures, social media, and the school website.
  • Guide the marketing resource to coordinate with graphic designers and vendors for branding, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Track campaign performance using analytics tools and provide regular performance reports.

Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and parent feedback to leadership for decision-making.
  • Coordinate with academic heads to align messaging and student success stories with marketing efforts.

Qualification:

  • Bachelors/master's degree

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Counsellors must be able to clearly explain application procedures, deadlines, and requirements, as well as provide constructive feedback.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Building rapport with students, parents, and other stakeholders is crucial. Empathy and the ability to listen actively help counsellors address concerns and provide personalized guidance.
  • Organizational Skills: Managing multiple applications, deadlines, and documents requires excellent organizational abilities. Counsellors need to track various stages of the admissions process and ensure all materials are processed efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in reviewing applications, noting deadlines, and ensuring accuracy in documentation is critical to avoid mistakes that could impact admissions decisions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Counsellors often face unique challenges and need to find effective solutions. This might involve addressing application issues, resolving conflicts, or helping students navigate complex situations.
  • Knowledge of Educational Systems: A thorough understanding of school curricula, standardized tests, and higher education systems helps counsellors provide accurate and relevant advice.
  • Cultural Competency: Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse backgrounds and experiences are important for providing equitable support and ensuring an inclusive admissions process.
  • Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with admissions software, databases, and online communication tools is necessary for managing applications and interacting with students.
  • Marketing and Outreach Skills: Counsellors often engage in recruitment activities and need to effectively promote their institution to prospective students through presentations, information sessions, and social media.
  • Ethical Judgment: Adhering to ethical guidelines and maintaining confidentiality is crucial, especially when handling sensitive information about applicants.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Sales & Business development roles.
  • Should have experience in managing hands-on customer-facing team
