The Mobile Purchaser plays a vital role in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of construction materials, tools, and supplies directly from local vendors and suppliers. Operating primarily in the field, this role supports project teams by sourcing urgent items, negotiating prices, and coordinating deliveries to meet project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase construction materials, tools, and consumables from local suppliers based on site needs

  • Coordinate with site engineers and foremen to understand daily material requirements

  • Ensure accurate documentation of purchases, including receipts, delivery notes, and supplier details

  • Negotiate pricing and payment terms with vendors to optimize cost and value

  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishment planning for fast-moving items

  • Maintain strong relationships with local hardware stores, suppliers, and logistics providers

  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and safety standards

  • Submit daily purchase reports and expense summaries to the Procurement Officer

  • Assist in emergency procurement and delivery coordination during critical project phases

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology (Major in Automotive), or an equivalent field.

At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in purchasing or logistics, preferably in construction or related industries.

Familiarity with construction materials, tools, and local supplier networks.

Proficiency in MS Excel or mobile reporting apps is an advantage.

Ability to work independently and travel frequently to various project sites.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and highly organized.

Note: Training will be conducted in Pavia for 2 months, after which deployment will be in Manila.

Working Conditions

  • Field-based role with frequent travel to project sites and supplier locations

  • May require weekend or extended hours during peak construction phases

  • Mobile allowance and fuel reimbursement provided

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php18,000.00 per month
