Duty Technician

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Duty Engineer and in accordance with The Lind Boracay's standards, the Duty Technician ensures proper operation and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.

Essential Duties

• Ensure all lighting, outlets, and equipment are operational and meet safety standards.
• Conduct repairs, prepare material lists, and document activities in the logbook.
• Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment's, kitchen drainage, and plumbing systems.
• Perform and update preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain housekeeping and orderliness in work areas.
• Receive, record, and complete work requests; coordinate closely with Duty Engineer.
• Report unusual occurrences and consult superiors when necessary.
• Adhere to standard maintenance procedures and render overtime as required.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time, work under pressure, and handle projects.
• Relevant technical knowledge and attention to detail.

Education & Certification

• Engineering graduate; TESDA NC2 and Fire Safety certified.

Personal Qualities

• Dependable, mature, flexible, and safety-conscious.
• Guest service–oriented, professional, and able to work with diverse teams.
• Willing to work overnight, weekends, and holidays.

Experience

• 2–3 years in hotel/resort operations; experience in a 5-star/luxury property preferred.
