NIR Operator

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs daily sample evaluation based on approved standard operating procedure including sample preparation
• Supports NIR programs by providing validated analytical test results
• Assists the NIR Specialist in maintaining the integrity of NIR equipment
• Supports department in attaining stable conformance with the national and international standards and policies, maintenance of Quality Management System, and third-party accreditation
• Assists the NIR Specialist in monitoring inventory of NIR spare parts and consumables
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the NIR Specialist or higher

Requirement:

• Must be a graduate of BS Math, BS Applied Science, BS Biology, BS Chemistry, or any science-related course
• With or without prior knowledge in NIR operation software (ISIScan, ISINova, Mosaic, etc.) or comparable laboratory software and equipment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Can work in weekends and on shifting schedule
