Barcaldine Prep-12 State School is located in the welcoming township of Barcaldine, in Central West Queensland, approximately 600 km west of Rockhampton.

About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and passionate
Head of Department (Curriculum)
to join our leadership team until 5 December 2025, with the possibility of extension.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead the school's curriculum focus in line with departmental and whole-school priorities
- Champion high-quality teaching and learning across Prep-Year 10
- Support and develop teacher capability through coaching and collaboration
- Build and strengthen positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the community
- Contribute to the vision and direction of the school under the leadership of the Principal
