Management Training (Logistics)

The Management Trainee (Logistics) will undergo a comprehensive training program across various logistics and operations functions. The role aims to equip the trainee with the technical, operational, and leadership skills required for a future supervisory or management role. The trainee will assist in day-to-day logistics activities, support process improvements, and participate in strategic initiatives to ensure smooth warehouse, distribution, and supply chain operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Operational Support

  • Assist in monitoring daily warehouse, distribution, and transport operations.
  • Support the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Assist in inventory management, including stock monitoring, cycle counts, and variance analysis.
  • Help ensure that all logistics processes comply with company SOPs and customer requirements.

Data & Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics performance reports.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, delays, or inefficiencies.
  • Support documentation for shipment, routing, billing, and delivery.

Process Improvement

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, efficiency, and service enhancement.
  • Assist in reviewing and enhancing operational workflows and standard procedures.

Leadership & Training

  • Observe and train under supervisors and managers across different departments (warehouse, transport, customer service, planning).
  • Participate in leadership development activities assigned by the management.
  • Assist in supervising teams during peak operations or assigned shifts.

Customer Service

  • Support communication with clients & stakeholders regarding delivery schedules, shipment updates, and logistics-related inquiries.
  • Help resolve issues related to delivery delays, discrepancies, and customer concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Fresh graduates are welcome
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)

  • Willing to learn, adaptable, and has leadership potential

  • Preferably with internship or experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, or supply chain (but fresh graduates are welcome).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of basic logistics processes and documentation.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Adaptability, willingness to learn, and leadership potential.

  • Exposure to warehouse and field operations.
  • Willing to work in Sta. Rosa & Calamba City, Laguna.
