Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible in assembling the dialysis machine and ensuring its proper performance.
  • Check and monitor patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
  • Administering local anesthesia.
  • Talking patients through the dialysis process.
  • Monitor and adjust patient fluid removal rates as required.
  • Work in tandem with nurses and doctors.
  • Ensures the sterilization of operating equipment before use.
  • Attend to patient needs.
  • Understands the patient physical and emotional concerns.
  • Educate the patients on health maintenance and care.

Qualifications

  • Must possess at least a Vocational Diploma/ Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/College Degree in any field
  • Preferably a certified dialysis technician
  • Preferably with work experience as hemodialysis technician
  • Has capability to lift, move and transfer patients
  • At least 1 year experience in healthcare
