Scope & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the company's Architect and US-based ABAP Developer to design, develop, and maintain ABAP-based solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues by systematically diagnosing problems, working closely with the Customer Care team, and providing effective solutions.
• Work autonomously when required, demonstrating the ability to independently manage tasks, develop solutions, and meet deadlines without constant supervision.
• Leverage SAP HR knowledge to enhance development efforts and integrate with SAP solutions effectively.
• Apply expertise in SAP technical aspects such as ABAP report development, debugging, object-oriented programming, portal technologies, and new SAP innovations (PCC, SuccessFactors, SAP Cloud).
• Develop software based on provided specifications, create unit tests, conduct system/regression testing, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Handle sensitive employee data with care, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Ensure timely issue resolution in alignment with service level agreements (SLA), effectively managing the issue queue and progressing calls toward resolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of SAP R/3 ABAP development experience.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience in developing SAP reports, interfaces, and applications.
• Ability to debug and analyze SAP functionality, working closely with functional teams.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve end-user issues effectively.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and strong English communication (written & verbal) skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in SAP HR / PY modules or ABAP for HR.
• Familiarity with SAP Webdynpro, HTML5, JavaScript, and other portal development tools.
• Understanding of SAP cloud technologies, including PCC, SuccessFactors, and SAP Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA and OpenUI5 is a plus.
• Experience with software development lifecycle practices, including unit testing, system testing, regression testing, and peer code reviews.
• Passion for learning new technologies and advancing career skills.
