Job Title: Forklift Operator (Warehouse & Logistics) Job Summary:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products or materials within the warehouse and logistics facility. This role ensures safe, efficient, and accurate handling of goods to support smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment to move materials and products safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets in accordance with safety standards.
  • Transport materials to and from designated storage or production areas.
  • Inspect forklifts and other equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movement, inventory, and deliveries.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse layout for efficient space utilization.
  • Follow safety procedures and report any damage, malfunction, or potential hazard immediately.
  • Support warehouse staff in general operations, including picking, packing, and labeling as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift operator certification/license (if required by local regulations).
  • Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse management and inventory systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling moderate to heavy lifting.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
