On-call Substitute Teacher

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide a variety of learning experiences that will actively engage students and demonstrate flexibility responsiveness in meeting their individual needs
• Integrate instructional plans and teaching practices in a way that considers differences in students' learning styles and diverse social, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds
• Is available to students for remedial assistance, advice, guidance, consultation or meetings if and as needed
• Participate in school operations
• Report educational outcomes, according to school requirements

Job Qualification and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field with a valid professional teaching license.
• At least two (2) years of teaching experience, preferably in early years or elementary grades.
• Committed to maintaining high academic standards.
• Strong leadership skills to support and enhance teaching and learning initiatives.
• Flexible and adaptable to different classroom environments.
• Available on an on-call basis to fill in for absent teachers as needed.
