Buyer

The buyer will be responsible for planning and selecting a range of products to be sold in all New Era stores and partner brands. He/ She will source new merchandise and review existing items to ensure that the products remain competitive. A Buyer should also be able to maximize profits and provide commercially viable range of merchandise at a competitive price. He/ She must be up to date with market trends and reacts to changes in demands promptly.
- Has skills of researching and forecasting and able to spot the new trends for the latest collection of the brand.
- Manages buying plan, prepares sales and inventory performance reports and maintains smooth flow of merchandise deliveries
- Follows up orders, PO processing and deliveries
- Conducts price negotiation with suppliers
- Maintains optimal inventory level to maximize sales opportunities
- Prepares, analyzes and presents merchandising reports
- Allocates and consolidates products to New Era shops
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Fashion, Arts and Business (Administration, Management, Commerce, Economics, Textile and Fashion Design or equivalent)
- At least with 1 year working experience in related field, experience in a retail industry is an advantage
- Has the ability to adapt to new technology and proficient in Microsoft Office , Outlook and most of all Excel Spreadsheet
- Knowledge in photo/video editing is an advantage.
Compressed Work Week from Mondays to Fridays (8:00 AM TO 6:00 PM)
