Job Qualifications

  1. Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology.
  2. Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist (RRT) in the Philippines, with PRC certification.
  3. Familiarity with operating various radiologic equipment (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound) is an advantage.
  4. With or without experience.
  5. Knowledge of radiology safety standards, including radiation protection and infection control practices.
  6. Excellent communication skills to explain procedures and calm patients.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  8. Physically fit to assist patients, move equipment, and stand for extended periods during imaging procedures.
  9. Must be able to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Task and Duties:

  1. Performs radiologic studies (routine x-rays and special procedures) and produces acceptable and good-quality radiographs.
  2. Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of all radiologic equipment and reports any defect that arises for immediate repair.
  3. Maintain department cleanliness and asepsis.
  4. Participates in training and seminars regarding proper handling of machines, rules and regulations in the department, radiology updates, and continuous professional development programs.
  5. Responsible for completing all necessary department records and files during his tour of duty, especially after office hours.
  6. Do clerical work when necessary daily census, cataloging, releasing of borrowed films, receiving returned films, scheduling ultrasound, CT  Scan, retrieving old and outside films).
  7. Attend monthly meetings or other department and hospital activities.
  8. Reports to the immediate supervisor (Chief Radiologic Technologist)
