Department: Operations - Information Technology

Reporting to: IT Software Team Lead

As a Software Engineer specializing in web and/or mobility, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications focused on web technologies and mobile platforms. You will be responsible for analyzing user requirements, designing solutions, and implementing high-quality software solutions to meet business needs.

Other requirements include the following:

  • Leads the architectural design of mid complexity web and mobile systems, prioritizing scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Develops and maintains high-quality web and mobile applications, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Conducts code reviews to ensure code quality and offers constructive feedback to team members.
  • Focuses on optimizing application performance, addressing speed, responsiveness, and resource utilization.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, system documentation, and user manuals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or any related course
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in modern web and mobile application development using languages like PHP, JavaScript, Python, Java, or Swift.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, best practices, and design patterns.
  • Experience in mobile app development (iOS and Android) and web development (front-end and back-end).
  • Knowledge of security protocols, encryption, and vulnerability mitigation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Effective collaboration and communication with cross functional teams to understand business requirements, translate into functional specifications and develop a right fit solution.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and industry trends.
