The primary function of the Liaison/Driver is to ensure the secure, timely, and accurate physical execution of bank and governmental transactions as directed by the Treasury or Finance Manager.

Essential Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree or vocational course in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is a plus but often not mandatory.
• Driving Credentials:
• Must possess a valid professional driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a company driver or professional driver, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Trustworthiness: Impeccable personal record and background, as this role involves handling highly sensitive information and assets (cash, checks, negotiable instruments).

Core Responsibilities

• Bank Transaction Execution:
• Securely deliver and pick up sensitive documents, such as checks, deposit slips, payment instructions, account opening forms, and loan documents, to and from various banks and financial institutions.
• Process bank deposits, cash withdrawals, check clearings, fund transfers, and other over-the-counter transactions as directed by the Treasury team.
• Follow strict internal control procedures for the handling and transport of cash and high-value financial instruments.

• Integrity and Confidentiality: Absolutely critical for protecting the company's financial data and assets.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in verifying transaction amounts, document details, and ensuring all required signatures/stamps are obtained.
• Road Safety and Route Planning: Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and highly skilled in navigating city routes efficiently and safely.
• Communication: Clear, professional, and respectful communication skills for interacting with bank personnel and internal management.
