The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to attract, identify, and hire top talent for the organization. This role involves developing job descriptions, posting job advertisements, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. The Recruitment Specialist works closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop job descriptions.
  • Post job advertisements and Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, FB Careers Page) and professional networks.
  • Screening and Selection:
  • Review resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial screening interview and administer assessments to gauge applicant's suitability for the role
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Candidate Management:
  • Maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide feedback to candidates and manage job offers and rejections professionally.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience to promote the organization's employer brand.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Prepare recruitment reports and analytics to track hiring progress and effectiveness.
  • Assist in onboarding new hires, ensuring all documentation and pre-employment requirements are completed.
  • Compliance and Best Practices:
  • Ensure all recruitment practices comply with labor laws and organizational policies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, AB Sociology, BS Social Work, or Business Administration, or any relevant field.
  • At least 1-2 years recruitment experience or relevant internship in a similar role
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, great at time-management and prioritization; Must be creative, resourceful and can adapt easily
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create reports, emails and presentations
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
