Job Description
- Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience in Warehouse and Supply Chain Management.
- High school diploma or vocational course in logistics or related field.
- Certified to operate electric forklift.
- Strong knowledge in Inventory Management & Warehouse Operation processes, PEZA warehouse experience is preferable.
- Basic computer skills, experience with ERP and Warehouse Management System is a strong advantage.
- Able to work as individual & team player, required to be multi-tasking / multi-dimensional and work under pressure.
- Familiar with PEZA documentation import and export procedures.
- Strong in problem solving skills to hand daily operation issues and customer complaints.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills either in writing or verbal to handle internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to implement continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Candidate from chemical industry and having experience of handling DG-Dangerous Goods/Non-Dangerous goods will be an advantage.
- Knowledgeable in the local compliance about the pollution control regulation and guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle incoming and dispatching goods inspection, picking, packing, sorting, stock taking, labelling, reporting and other adhoc matters related to warehousing.
- Making local deliveries to all customers and sample deliveries.
- Stock counts.
- Manage sample inventories, sample log.
- Focal point with local transportation vendor.
- In charge of Warehouse IN/OUT Vouchers.
- In charge of documents for borrow/ lending cargo.
- Assist in preparing and processing documentation required by PEZA and the Bureau of Customs (BOC) for inbound and outbound shipments
- Assist in facility monitoring and maintenance, ensuring that the warehouse environment remains safe, clean, and compliant with operational standards.
