The Inter-Warehouse Planner is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and implementing stock transfer plans to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of inventory between warehouses. This role works closely with the supply chain team to manage transfer schedules, maintain stock accuracy, and support operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute the daily stock transfer plans as directed by the supply chain team.
  • Monitor transfer orders to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods between warehouses.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the transfer process.

Coordination and Communication:

  • Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and supply chain teams to align stock transfers with operational priorities and deadlines.
  • Act as the point of contact for stakeholders regarding transfer order statuses, delays, or changes.
  • Communicate effectively to provide updates on transfer progress and address any challenges.

Inventory Management and Accuracy:

  • Ensure that stock transfers are accurately documented in the system.
  • Work closely with inventory control teams to verify stock levels before and after transfers.
  • Monitor stock discrepancies and coordinate resolutions.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate reports on transfer order status, stock movement, and related metrics.
  • Analyze transfer data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights to the supply chain team for better decision-making.

Process Improvement:

  • Support initiatives to streamline the stock transfer process and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Suggest improvements to reduce transfer delays and optimize resource utilization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in stock transfers, supply chain operations, inventory control, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics processes.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
