Job Summary:

The Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of vehicles or equipment to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. The role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all repairs meet quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems in vehicles or machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, brake checks, and tire rotations.
  • Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Test and ensure repaired vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
  • Maintain accurate service records and repair reports.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Communicate with supervisors or customers regarding repair estimates and timelines.

Qualifications:
  • High School or Vocational Graduate in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as a mechanic (automotive, motorcycle, or heavy equipment).
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiar with mechanical tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy parts.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred (Optional):
  • TESDA NC II or NC III certification in Automotive Servicing or related course.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience with specific vehicle brands or machinery (e.g., Toyota, Isuzu, Caterpillar).
