Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Program Manager with the management of all phases of projects through the Product Development process.
  • Manage compliance with PPMO best practices (charters, risk management, stakeholder management etc.)
  • Coordinate with all the various divisions / departments to progress and deliver the program / project plan.
  • Coordinate the development of project charters by working with the Program Manager all stakeholders, SME's and Product Managers.
  • Develop, maintain ownership and accountability for comprehensive project plans.
  • Monitor and publish key performance results / metrics and ensure visibility for LNLP leadership on assigned projects.
  • Schedule, facilitate and manage the project calendar, activities, working sessions and review meetings for each project as assigned by the Program Manager.
  • Ensure comprehensive notes and actions are captured, shared and assigned from the collaborative discussions with cross-functional teams for all the projects assigned.
  • Monitor the risks and issues and escalate issues and decisions to the Program Manager.
  • Assist the Program Manager with project / program communications on project status – including variances risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement to existing processes and procedures.
  • Depending on scope and complexity, independently manage up to 10 simple projects per year.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree holder
  • 1+ years of project management experience within a matrix organization.
  • Project governance education (PMP, Agile etc.).
  • Have an ability to quickly gain an understanding of the underlying functionality and processes to be delivered.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills.
  • Professional and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word & Teams).
  • Be highly organized, can manage multiple projects, able to multi-task, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Be able to build and maintain effective relationships with project team members.
  • Possess an ethos of continuous learning, welcoming constructive feedback and embrace new challenges.
  • Experience with standard Project Management tools , Microsoft Project, Smartsheet).

Desired/Nice-to-have:

  • Project governance certification (PMP, Agile etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Sharepoint, Planner, Forms, Loop & Co-Pilot
  • Experience with core business platforms such as Salesforce and Peoplesoft,
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience coordinating team workflow in fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
