Overview
The Outbound Team Leader (Sales) is responsible for supervising a team of outbound sales agents to ensure that sales targets, productivity goals, and quality standards are consistently achieved. This role focuses on performance coaching, call monitoring, workflow management, and driving a high-energy sales environment. The Team Leader also collaborates with management to improve outbound strategies, maximize conversion rates, and maintain a strong compliance and customer-service culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate an outbound sales team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
- Monitor outbound calls, evaluate agent performance, and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
- Conduct daily huddles, performance reviews, and ongoing training sessions.
- Manage team schedules, attendance, and task assignments to ensure operational efficiency.
- Track and analyze team performance metrics; prepare reports for management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales conversion, lead quality, and agent productivity.
- Handle escalated calls, customer concerns, or sales objections that require supervisory intervention.
- Ensure team compliance with scripts, processes, quality standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with sales leadership, QA, and training departments to optimize outbound operations.
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new outbound agents.
- Foster a positive, energetic, and results-driven office environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree is an advantage.
- Proven experience in outbound sales, telesales, or telemarketing.
- Minimum 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a call center or sales environment.
- Strong communication, coaching, and motivational skills.
- Solid understanding of outbound sales techniques, objection handling, and lead qualification.
- Ability to analyze performance data and implement process improvements.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and call center systems.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
- Willingness to work office-based with a structured schedule.
Preferred
- Experience in high-volume outbound sales environments
- Training experience or certification in leadership or sales.
- Ability to foster a competitive and positive team culture.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
