Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team As a Respiratory Care Practitioner - Therapy, you will provide high-quality patient care by evaluating, treating, and managing patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited College in the field of Respiratory Therapy
- Training specific to area of assignment
- California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- Experience in an acute (routine and critical) respiratory care setting
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, treat, and manage patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and interpret patient data, taking appropriate action when necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiopulmonary conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
