JOB SUMMARY:

  • Keep track of Accounts Receivable and regularly follow up on past-due payments.
  • Review and approve purchase orders to ensure accuracy before processing.
  • Record incoming payments and make sure they are posted correctly and on time.
  • Prepare and enter necessary journal entries into the system.
  • Double-check payments by comparing system records with the actual remittances verified by the Cashier and Validator.
  • Monitor P&G funds and make sure all deductions are accurate and properly accounted for.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business course

Technical Skills

  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (AR, JE posting, PO process)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)
  • Experience using accounting systems (SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, Netsuite, or similar)
  • Ability to review and validate financial documents with accuracy

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage time well and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and coordination skills (especially when working with Cashiers, Validators, and Accounting Team)
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial information

  • Organized and process-oriented
  • Proactive in monitoring collections and resolving discrepancies
  • Works well with minimal supervision
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, or related roles
  • Experience in payment posting, bank reconciliation, or fund monitoring is an advantage
