Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities in the Sewage Treatment Plant including plumbing, electrical and mechanical work.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and determine necessary repairs or improvements.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and determine necessary repairs or improvements.
  • Cleaning of all Grease Trap Upstream (Production Areas, Mess Hall, R&D Kitchen, Staff Pantry and QA Laboratory)
  • Conduct Daily pH and Imhoff Cone reading/measurement.
  • Record and Maintain regular entry on STP Logbook
  • Cleaning of Dirt and Solids at Inflow Screen and Grease Trap.
  • Repair or replace worn out parts on equipment
  • Document maintenance activities and keep accurate records of repairs and inspection
  • Respond to emergency calls to perform and assist on emergency repairs.
  • Coordinate equipment status with Pollution Control Officer
  • Ensure proper dosing of Chlorine on Discharge Water.
  • Assist Third Party Contractor in taking Discharge Water Sample for testing.
  • Carry out task that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications :

  • High School diploma, Vocational Courses or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in operating and maintaining STP or similar facilities.
  • Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Willing to work in a shifting schedule
