Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced On-Call Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be available to respond to transportation needs on short notice, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. This position requires flexibility, adherence to safety regulations, and excellent driving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to on-call requests to transport goods and materials to various destinations.
  • Operate commercial vehicles (e.g., semi-trucks, box trucks, flatbeds) in compliance with federal, state, and local driving regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance issues.
  • Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections using electronic or manual systems.
  • Follow established routes or determine the most efficient route based on road conditions and time constraints.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and customer service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • professional Driver's license up to 6 wheeler truck
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy loads if necessary.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Availability to be on-call and respond promptly when needed.
