We are seeking a Senior Analyst Programmer – EDI Gentran to join our dynamic IT team supporting Essilor projects. This role focuses on analysis, development, and maintenance of applications utilizing EDI Gentran and IBM Sterling technologies. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and ensures the timely delivery of customer projects, maintaining consistent communication and proactive issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analysis, programming, and production support for EDI Gentran and IBM Sterling-based systems.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
  • Develop, test, and deploy EDI maps and related solutions based on project requirements.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of requests.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Control team for testing and validation of deliverables.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, following established CMMI standards and internal processes.
  • Proactively communicate project statuses, risks, and issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions (brownbag trainings) to support team learning and continuous improvement.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in EDI Gentran and/or IBM Sterling technology (development, support, and analysis).
  • Strong understanding of EDI standards, message formats, and integration concepts.
  • Experience with communication protocols such as SFTP, AS2, FTP, or VAN.
  • Proficient in basic SQL commands and scripting for troubleshooting and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and integration with EDI systems.
  • Familiarity with CMMI-defined processes and documentation standards is an advantage.
