Security Manager

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard people, property, and assets.
  2. Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and inspections across all company locations to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
  3. Monitor daily security operations to ensure optimal functioning and alignment with corporate and regulatory standards.
  4. Train and educate staff on security protocols, emergency procedures, and crisis management to improve safety awareness and response readiness.
  5. Lead incident response and emergency management efforts, ensuring timely and effective resolution in accordance with established protocols.
  6. Ensure full compliance with legal requirements, government regulations, and industry best practices.
  7. Collaborate with external security agencies, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies to investigate and resolve security-related incidents.
  8. Oversee security personnel, manage contracts with security service providers, and evaluate their performance.
  9. Maintain updated documentation and reports for audits, incidents, and compliance records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Security Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as Certified Security Professional (CSP), Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Training, or BOSH for SO1/SO2 is an advantage.
  • At least 7–10 years of experience in operations of security agency, including supervisory experience, preferably in a corporate, retail, or multi-site environment.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing security protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, site security audits, and incident investigations.
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control, alarm systems, and other physical security technologies.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to manage in-house and third-party security personnel.
  • Ability to ensure proper documentation for incident reports, investigations, and regulatory inspections.
