Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Associate to join our team on a project basis. The successful candidate will support our finance department by managing accounting activities related to the project, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and reports related to the project.

  • Record, reconcile, and maintain accurate accounting entries and documentation.

  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes specific to the project.

  • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial transactions.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather financial data.

  • Assist with internal and external audits related to the project.

  • Prepare relevant financial analysis and summaries as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a project-based environment.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
