Waiter / Waitress

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Maya's Baked Pasta, an authentic Italian/Filipino dining experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Italian  cuisine, attentive to detail, and dedicated to delivering exceptional guest service. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests, accurately taking orders, ensuring food and beverage service runs smoothly, and working with the kitchen and management team to create memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and make menu recommendations, especially on baked pasta dishes and daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages to guests with an attention to detail and timing, ensuring all items are delivered as ordered and to the restaurant's standards.
• Provide information to guests about ingredients, dietary options, and potential allergens.
• Monitor tables and ensure guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience by responding promptly to their needs and requests.
• Assist in preparing tables, setting up and breaking down service areas, and maintaining a clean, organized environment.
• Process guest payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and other front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including new and seasonal items, and keep up-to-date with restaurant promotions and events.
