CAD Operator

The CAD Operator is the overall in-charge of tasks below:

1 PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE (PREPARATION & PLAN REVIEW)

Reviews /traces bid plans against FCD plans for any discrepancies

Reviews /traces plans both architectural and structural for any conflict /discrepancies in layout (all discipline)

Reviews finishes on floor plans against detailed specifications and Bill of Quantity (BOQ)

Prepares shop drawings and blow-up plans (attachment for submittals) ex. IWR's, RFA/RFI's, RFC's, V.O.'s, PR's, key plans, LGU requirements

Prepares cutting lists drawings (structural)

Prepares detailed drawings for site layout (Structural/Architectural)

Prepares draft drawings of areas/design with conflict prior to approval

2 CONSTRUCTION PHASE (COORDINATION)

Coordinates and review dimensions on plans with Site Surveyor

Coordinates and tabulates area measurement of finishes with site operation and Quantity Surveyor

Coordinates and tabulates type of finishes with site operation and QA/QC

Coordinates and discuss design intent on plans and detailed drawings with site operation and QA/QC

Coordinates with designated sub-contractor before commencement of work; orientation of layout and finishes

3 POST-CONSTRUCTION (DOCUMENTATION/AS-BUILT)

Documents material brochures, specifications used at site (Project close-out)

Documents and status monitoring of submittal drawings (for approval) ex. RFA/RFI's

Documents Construction Bulletin and Bid Bulletin to incorporate with FCD drawings

Updates As-built drawings

Safekeeping of plans and specification at site (e-file, hardcopy)

4 SPECIAL TASK

Prepares isometric/perspective drawings to better understand design intent or design conflict

Printing of documents and drawings

Coordinates drawings with conflict with other trades with MEPF coordinator

Key plans for monthly accomplishment billing

UALIFICATIONS

• At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
• Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture; Professional License is a plus;
• With strong analytical, communication, presentation skills as well as an eye for detail;
• Results-oriented, team-player with strong interpersonal skills;
• Willing to relocate / commute for the position/ amenable to work on-site;
• Willing to be assigned/relocate within Pasig City;
• amenable to commute / relocate, living near or within Pasig City;

Archipelago Builders Corporation

The company was established in 1965, engaging in General Building Construction under the name Archipelago Builders. The office started from renting a room of a building at Rizal Avenue, Sta. Cruz, Manila and the Warehouse / Steel Shop were located at Old Samson Road, Balintawak, Quezon City.

Started with a Building Contractor-Category "C" by Professional Regulations Commission, it was later recognized as a General Building Contractor-Class "B". In the year the company doubled its personnel, rented another three (3) rooms in the same building and added another three (3) compartment warehouses and steel shop for its expanded operations for both public and private sectors. In 1977, the company was recognized as a General Engineering and General Building-Category "A", engaged in both horizontal and vertical construction.

In 1979, Archipelago Builders started construction of its own three and a one half (3 -1/2) storey building at No.29 North Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City, to house its main office and diversified businesses like the restaurant, construction supply and real state.

In 1987, as the company continued to grow, the category "A" further upgraded to Category 'AA'

In 1998, the year of economic crisis, inflation and political strife in the country, fortunately, Archipelago Builders was awarded quite a number of projects in Metro Manila, Southern Luzon and Visayas. Because of this, Archipelago Builders was finally upgraded to Category 'AAA'.

Today, after many years of construction experience, Archipelago Builders aims to further develop the quality of construction and help build future for this country. This is our vision and mission.
