Role: AU Senior Tax Accountant

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and review of tax returns, BAS/IAS, and financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, SMSFs and individuals.
  • Provide tailored tax advice, including CGT, FBT, Div 7A
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, building strong and ongoing relationships.
  • Mentor and review the work of junior accountants.
  • Assist with strategic advisory, structuring, and business planning projects.
  • Contribute to the firm's continued growth and client service excellence.

Your skills and experience:

  • You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an Australian professional practice at a senior level
  • You have an accounting degree from an Australian tertiary institution
  • CPA or CA qualified (or working toward)
  • You have a strong knowledge of taxation law, financial reporting standards and client compliance management
  • You have experience using HandiSoft, MYOB & XERO (highly desirable)
  • Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • A team player who enjoys mentoring and contributing to a positive culture.
  • You are detail-oriented
