What You'll Do in the Role

Azure Cloud Services

• Set up, maintain, and support Azure environments across global regions
• Monitor Azure environments and proactively resolve performance, reliability, and availability issues
• Provision, configure, and maintain Virtual Machines (VMs)
• Set up and manage VPNs
• Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for Azure administration and automation

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Set up and maintain user accounts
• Create and manage security and distribution groups
• Set up and maintain shared mailboxes
• Manage software licences efficiently to optimise costs

Microsoft Dynamics

• Maintain and support Microsoft Dynamics environments
• Collaborate with other staff to identify and resolve operational issues
• Enhance Forms and Views to improve usability
• Build and maintain dashboards for various teams

Power BI

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards
• Work with stakeholders to identify reporting and dashboard requirements

SQL Server

• Set up, maintain, and support SQL databases
• Optimise database performance and reliability
• Identify potential bottlenecks, including disk performance and memory usage
• Create and maintain SQL scripts for administration and maintenance

Systems Administration

• Monitor hardware performance and replace or upgrade components as required
• Configure and maintain security measures across systems
• Set up new hardware for staff and resolve technical issues
• Provide technical support for PCs, printers, docking stations, switches, power, cabling, and related equipment
• Set up and maintain security camera systems
• Maintain Jira and Git repositories
• Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for systems administration

Network Administration

• Set up and maintain firewalls and routers (Cisco and Ubiquiti)
• Configure and maintain wireless networks (Ubiquiti)
• Set up and manage VPN access for staff

Application Development & Automation

• Develop, maintain, and support automation tools and cloud services using C# and JavaScript
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, scripts, and service integrations using C# and JavaScript
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing C# and JavaScript applications used in cloud and DevOps workflows

Software Development

• Collaborate with the Development team to create, improve, and manage deployment scripts
• Support reliable and efficient software deployment processes

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) Certification
• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) Certification

Experience

• 5 above years experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineer, or Systems Engineer role
• 3 above years proven experience managing production Azure environments
• Networking concept
• CI/CD concepts
• Power Bi and Microsoft Dynamics
