Position Title: Chief Nurse
Location: Nasugbu, Batangas
Position Overview
The Chief Nurse is responsible for overseeing the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and the professional development of nursing staff. This role involves strategic planning, policy implementation, and close coordination with other hospital leaders to maintain operational excellence in nursing services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and support the nursing workforce across all hospital units.
Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with healthcare standards.
Ensure compliance with local health regulations, accreditation requirements, and hospital protocols.
Collaborate with medical and administrative leadership to improve patient care outcomes and operational efficiency.
Oversee staffing plans, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
Manage departmental budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.
Facilitate continuous professional development programs for nurses to enhance skills and knowledge.
Monitor patient satisfaction metrics and initiate improvement measures when necessary.
Lead quality assurance and infection control initiatives.
Act as a primary point of contact for nursing-related matters in internal and external audits.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred.
Valid nursing license and current registration with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) or equivalent licensing body.
Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive nursing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Demonstrated knowledge of hospital operations, nursing standards, and healthcare regulations.
