About the role

We are seeking a talented Biomedical Engineer to join our dynamic team at We Hope Medical Clinic in Imus City, Cavite. As a Biomedical Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading the medical equipment used in our state-of-the-art healthcare facility. This is a full-time, on-site position that plays a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on a wide range of medical devices and equipment
  2. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
  3. Collaborate with medical staff to understand their needs and requirements for new or upgraded equipment
  4. Research and recommend innovative medical technologies to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency
  5. Develop and implement training programs for medical staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards
  7. Maintain detailed records and documentation of all equipment maintenance and repair activities

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
  2. 5+ years of experience working as a Biomedical Engineer in a healthcare setting
  3. Strong understanding of medical equipment, including their design, operation, and maintenance requirements
  4. Proficient in using diagnostic and testing equipment to identify and resolve issues
  5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with medical staff
  7. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality standards in the healthcare industry
