The Internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within the organization. This role ensures compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and financial standards while identifying opportunities to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute internal audit engagements across various departments, processes, and functions.
  • Review financial records, operational processes, and compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
  • Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance frameworks.
  • Identify control weaknesses, process inefficiencies, and areas of risk exposure.
  • Provide recommendations for improvement and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and accurate audit reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure audit findings are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and best practices in auditing, compliance, and risk management.
  • Assist in fraud detection, prevention, and investigation when necessary.
  • Support management in achieving organizational goals by promoting accountability, transparency, and efficiency.
