We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Baker/Dispatch Staff. This hybrid role involves preparing high-quality baked goods and managing the dispatch and delivery of products to customers and outlets efficiently and on time.
Key ResponsibilitiesBaking Duties

Prepare doughs, batters, and baked goods according to company recipes and standards.

Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area in compliance with food safety regulations.

Monitor baking processes to ensure quality and consistency.

Label and package finished products appropriately.

Accurately pick and pack orders for delivery.

Load/unload delivery vehicles in a safe and timely manner.

Ensure all dispatch paperwork is correctly completed (delivery notes, invoices, etc.).

Coordinate with drivers or delivery services to ensure timely delivery.

Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or issues to the supervisor.

Prior experience in a bakery or food production environment preferred.

Good understanding of baking techniques and food hygiene standards.

Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and/or public holidays as needed.

Basic knowledge of inventory and dispatch systems.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Physically fit; capable of lifting and standing for long periods.

Team player with good communication skills.
