Position Title: QAQC Engineer – CSA/MEPF

Project Assignment: Balai Helena Project, Panglao, Bohol

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled QAQC Engineer – CSA/MEPF to join our Balai Helena Project in Panglao, Bohol. This role will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and quality control processes across the Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA) and Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) aspects of the project. The QAQC Engineer will ensure that all works meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Applicants must be based in Bohol or willing to relocate for the duration of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Evaluate overall project performance regularly to ensure compliance with quality standards for CSA and MEPF works.
  • Develop and implement measurement programs to assess project processes and prevent potential defects.
  • Ensure that all quality assurance procedures are properly implemented and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Control (QC)

  • Monitor and verify CSA and MEPF works to ensure compliance with technical specifications, standards, and approved plans.
  • Detect, document, and report non-conformance issues; ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Implement quality control procedures as defined in the project's QAQC Plan.

General Duties

  • Report administratively to the QAQC Head/Construction Manager and functionally to the Senior QAQC Engineer.
  • Implement quality work procedures to guide both in-house teams and contractors.
  • Attend production and contractor meetings to address QAQC matters.
  • Review and evaluate Method Statements and technical submissions from operations and contractors.
  • Support training and development initiatives by identifying quality-related training needs.
  • Monitor and assess department activities to ensure continuous improvement in QAQC practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in QAQC roles, with proven exposure to both CSA and MEPF scopes in construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of industry quality standards, QA/QC processes, and best practices.
  • Experience in developing and implementing QAQC Plans, procedures, and controls.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be based in Bohol or willing to relocate for the duration of the project.
