What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

  • Experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or in a similar IT security role
  • Strong background in applications, infrastructure, and network security support
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, and vulnerability testing
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO, Essential 8, and SMB1001
  • Knowledge of risk analysis, incident response, and compliance reporting
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote support environment
  • Strong technical documentation and report writing skills
  • Excellent English communication skills and a high level of customer service

What will you do?

Security Operations

  • Perform system security activities including proactive monitoring, reactive support, and incident documentation
  • Analyse security breaches to identify root causes, escalate risks, and implement improvements
  • Conduct brute force monitoring, risk logging, and assist with incident remediation

Project Support & Compliance

  • Lead or support cybersecurity projects, advising team members and aligning with internal project frameworks
  • Maintain internal cybersecurity systems (e.g., firewalls, reporting platforms) and associated documentation
  • Conduct monthly compliance checks across managed clients and ensure adherence to best practices
  • Assist in creating and improving security processes, policies, and system configurations

Client Risk & Communication

  • Enable account management teams by logging risks and enabling monthly reporting and escalation
  • Generate reports for IT administrators and business managers to assess and improve security posture
  • Work closely with infrastructure teams to identify client gaps and support mitigation efforts
